Lyndonville woman arrested for DUI after found passed out with glass pipe

LYNDONVILLE — A local woman was arrested early Monday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, according to the Lyndonville Police Department.

Meagan Tellier, 39, of Corinth, was discovered by an officer at approximately 3:10 a.m. on April 29 in a vehicle at 85 US Route 2 in St. Johnsbury.

The officer, who was refueling his patrol car after assisting another agency, noticed Tellier appeared to be unconscious behind the wheel and holding a glass pipe.

Upon further investigation, the officer determined Tellier exhibited signs of impairment from a substance other than alcohol.

Tellier was taken into custody and later released to a sober individual.

The Lyndonville Police Department reported that Tellier has been cited to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on Aug. 26 at 8:30 a.m.

She has also been issued a trespass notice from Maplefields.
