New Hampshire man arrested for assault in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — A 23-year-old man from Littleton, New Hampshire, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault after an incident in St. Johnsbury.

Vermont State Police responded to a report at 588 Avenue A at 8:45 p.m. on May 1, where Christian Laflamme is said to have assaulted 24-year-old Elijah Cassidy.

Cassidy received medical attention at the scene from CALEX EMS and was released without the need for further medical care.

Laflamme was taken into custody and processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks.

He is scheduled to appear in the Caledonia County Superior Court on May 2 at 12:30 p.m. to face the assault charges.
