Cromwell man arrested, wanted in Texas for parole violation

CROMWELL — In a joint operation, the Cromwell Police Department and the U.S. Federal Marshals Task Force apprehended Brian Lee Lovely, a fugitive wanted by the State of Texas for a parole violation, on April 29.

Lovely, born on June 2, 1982, was located at 162 Woodland Drive and taken into custody without incident.

Texas authorities will seek full extradition of Lovely, who has been charged with being a Fugitive from Justice.

Following his arrest, Lovely was detained with a $250,000 cash/surety bond pending a court appearance.

He is scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court later today.
