Vandals target mailboxes in Highgate, police seek tips

HIGHGATE — In the quiet hours of a late April morning, residents of Highgate awoke to a string of vandalism that left several mailboxes damaged along Frontage Rd. and Carter Hill Rd.

State Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks received reports of the incident on April 27 at about 10:17 a.m. The exact time when the vandalism occurred remains unknown, as does the identity of the individuals responsible for the damage.

The Vermont State Police are reaching out to the community for help in tracking down the culprits.

They encourage anyone with information relating to the vandalism to contact the St. Albans State Police Barracks at 802-524-5993.
