St. Johnsbury woman arrested for Kinney Drugs theft

ST. JOHNSBURY — A local woman was apprehended by the St. Johnsbury Police Department in connection with a retail theft that occurred last month at Kinney Drugs on Memorial Drive.

Krystal Sharp, 38, of St. Johnsbury, was located by officers at approximately 4:44 p.m. on April 21 on Eastern Avenue.

Sharp was identified as the suspect in the theft which took place on February 19, shortly before 5:29 p.m., according to the police.

Law enforcement was able to identify Sharp using CCTV still images from the drug store and with the help of tips from the public.

Sharp, who was also found to be in violation of conditions, had an outstanding warrant for her arrest relating to the incident.

Following her arrest, Sharp was held at the Northeast Regional Correctional Center (NERCC) in St. Johnsbury on $100 bail.

The St. Johnsbury Police Department has not released further details regarding the theft or the conditions Sharp violated.

The investigation is ongoing.
