ACI Investigations Unit charges six individuals on various offenses in Providence

PROVIDENCE — A series of arrests have been made by the ACI Investigations Unit over the past few days, resulting in multiple individuals facing charges ranging from domestic violence to the possession of controlled substances.

On April 22, Stephen Peters, 51, of 245 California Avenue, was charged with a domestic violation of a no-contact order.

Following his arraignment in the Third District Court, Peters was handed over to the custody of the Sheriff’s Department.

That same day, James Main, 27, of 23 Bowling Lane, Bradford, was arraigned on charges including the conveyance of unauthorized articles to/from an institution and possession of a controlled substance.

Main, like Peters, was released to the Sheriff’s Department.

Also on April 22, Felix Hernandez-Rosado, 22, from 54 Power Road, Cranston, faced two counts of assault on a correctional officer.

After his arraignment, he too was released to the Sheriff’s Department.

On April 24, Tasia Hodge, 28, residing at 217 Wood Street, Apartment #2, Bristol, was charged with the conveyance of unauthorized articles to/from an institution and possession of a controlled substance.

Post-arraignment, Hodge was released to the custody of the Sheriff’s Department.

That same day, Devanji Powell, 49, of 655 Public Street, Providence, was charged with a domestic violence-related violation of a no-contact order.

Following his arraignment, Powell was released to the Sheriff’s Department.

Lastly, Matthew Rios, 34, from 154 Alverson Avenue, 3rd Floor, Providence, faced a similar charge of violating a no-contact order related to domestic violence.

He was arraigned and then released to the Sheriff’s Department.
