Bristol Country Store burglarized, over $4,000 in e-cigarettes stolen

BRISTOL — Vermont State Police are investigating an early morning burglary at the Bristol Country Store where thieves made off with over $4,000 in vaping products.

Authorities were alerted to the break-in at the store, located at 3191 South Vermont Route 116, around 4:21 a.m. on April 16.

Upon arrival, police discovered the front glass door of the establishment shattered and a variety of items missing, including 144 Loon Air e-cigarettes and 84 Loon vape juice cartridges.

The store was closed during the time of the incident, and no employees were present when the burglary occurred.

The total value of the stolen inventory is estimated at approximately $4,136.

Investigators are currently gathering more details and are expecting to obtain information from surveillance footage to help identify the culprits.
