Woman charged with aggravated domestic assault in Northfield

NORTHFIELD — A 26-year-old Roxbury woman was arrested after an alleged assault involving a tire iron on Main Street, authorities said.

Briana Quinton is facing a charge of aggravated domestic assault after Northfield Police Department officers responded to a call at 706 N Main Street at 5:49 p.m. on April 22.

According to Ofc. Mon Welch of the Northfield Police, an investigation revealed that Quinton had assaulted a family member.

The police did not release the name of the victim, in line with their policy on domestic violence cases.

Quinton was taken into custody and is being held at the 4Cs Correctional Facility.

She has been ordered to appear before the Washington Superior Court – Criminal Division on April 23 at 12:30 p.m. Her bail has been set at $1,500.
