The allegations surfaced in September when police were notified that Rielly had sexually assaulted a child multiple times over several years in Newport Center.

Following an extensive investigation, which included an interview with Rielly, Newport Police arrested him on April 12.

He is currently being held at the Northern State Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail.
