Suspicious bag left on car in Enosburg prompts police investigation

ENOSBURG — Vermont State Police are investigating a peculiar incident that occurred late on April 10, where an unidentified individual was recorded leaving a bag of animal feces on a parked vehicle.

Authorities were alerted to the situation at 6:54 a.m. on April 11, after a call was made concerning the suspicious activity on Main Street.

Surveillance video from a local business captured the scene, showing a person in a hooded jacket walking north and placing the bag on both the hood and driver’s door of the victim’s car at around 11:38 p.m.

The motives behind this act remain unclear, and the individual responsible has not been identified.

State police are seeking assistance from the public, urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the St. Albans Field Station at 802-524-5993.
