Enosburg man arrested for aggravated assault on St. Albans resident

ENOSBURG — Vermont State Police arrested 21-year-old Ryan Longway of Highgate on charges of aggravated assault after an incident that left 47-year-old man from St. Albans unconscious on April 9.

Authorities were called to a Second St. location at 7:28 p.m. where they found Bricker had been assaulted.

According to the investigation, Longway was identified as the assailant.

Following the assault, Bricker lost consciousness, prompting an immediate response from law enforcement.

Longway was apprehended and taken to the St. Albans Field Station for processing.

Longway was released on a citation and is scheduled to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on April 10 at 1 p.m.
