Boston police seek public’s help to identify suspect in South Boston assault

BOSTON — Boston Police detectives from District C-6 are asking for the public’s help to identify a suspect linked to an aggravated assault that occurred in South Boston.

The incident happened around 4:41 p.m. on March 17, in the vicinity of 186 Tudor Street.

According to authorities, three individuals were randomly attacked by a group of five.

After the assault, the suspects fled the scene, heading down Tudor Street towards F Street.

Investigators are particularly interested in locating a white male suspect believed to be between 30 and 40 years old.

He is described as approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 200 pounds.

During the time of the assault, he was seen wearing aviator sunglasses, a flat brim black Celtics hat, a black and green “Tatum” Celtics jersey, jeans, and was noted to have a full beard.

The Boston Police Department is diligently reviewing the details of the incident and encourages anyone with information to contact the District C-6 Detectives at (617) 343-4742.
