NEW LONDON — Residents in Connecticut felt the earth shake this morning as a 4.7 magnitude earthquake centered near Lebanon, New Jersey, sent tremors through the region.

The New London Police Department confirmed that calls came in around 10:28 a.m. from individuals and facilities reporting the shaking.
