NEWPORT –– Vermont State University has recognized an impressive number of local students for their academic achievements during the Fall 2023 semester. Students from various towns have earned a spot on either the President’s List or the Dean’s List, highlighting their dedication and academic excellence.

To be named to the President’s List, a student must maintain full-time status and achieve a perfect semester grade point average (GPA) of 4.0. The Dean’s List requires students to also maintain full-time status but with a slightly lower GPA threshold of 3.5 or higher.
