ANDOVER — Troopers with the Vermont State Police responded to an animal complaint Saturday afternoon at a residence on North Hill Road and ended up arresting a local man on an outstanding warrant.
At approximately 1:07 p.m., police arrived at the scene to investigate the complaint.
During the course of their investigation, they encountered Matthew Wilder, 52, of Andover.
A check revealed that Wilder had an active in-state arrest warrant related to a previous arrest for driving with a criminally suspended license.
Wilder was taken into custody without incident and subsequently lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.
He is being held on lack of $200 bail.
