CENTER HARBOR — The local fire department was called into action during a heavy snowstorm, responding to a rollover accident on Whittier Highway.

The storm, which blanketed the region on March 12, brought challenging conditions, but the town endured with minimal damage.

Despite the largely unscathed area, emergency crews were dispatched to attend to several incidents related to the storm.

One incident, captured in photographs, showed a vehicle that had rolled over during a period of intense snowfall.

Officials have not released details regarding the cause of the rollover or any injuries that may have occurred.

The fire department has reminded residents to exercise caution while driving in severe weather conditions and to adhere to safety advisories during such events.
