Barton and Derby mobile home parks receive over $440K for water system upgrades

DERBY — The state of Vermont has allocated $15.5 million to enhance water infrastructure in 46 manufactured housing communities, commonly known as mobile home parks. This significant investment aims to support the repair, replacement, and upgrading of crucial water systems.

Among the recipients, Fairview Estates in Barton has been granted $382,989. This funding will be utilized for technical assistance and permitting for the drinking water and wastewater systems, along with construction funding to improve the drinking water system.
