St. Johnsbury woman arrested for violating release conditions

ST. JOHNSBURY — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a St. Johnsbury woman for violating her conditions of release early Monday morning.

Vermont State Police troopers were patrolling the area near the intersection of Concord Avenue and Elm Street at 1:36 a.m. when they observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation.

After stopping the vehicle, troopers made contact with the four individuals inside.

One of the passengers, identified as 36-year-old Janita Ledoux, was found to be in breach of her release conditions.

Ledoux was taken into custody without incident.

She has been cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on April 15 at 8:30 a.m. to respond to the charge of violating conditions of release.
