OSSIPEE — Authorities announced today that William Kelly, 38, has been indicted by the Carroll County Grand Jury for the murder of Christine Falzone and her unborn child.

Kelly faces one count of second-degree murder for the death of Falzone, who was killed by multiple blunt force injuries in an act described as showing extreme indifference to the value of human life.

Additionally, Kelly has been indicted on a separate count of second-degree murder for the death of Falzone’s fetus, which was over twenty weeks gestation, under similarly violent circumstances.

The autopsy, conducted by Deputy Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Mitchell Weinberg on Dec. 18, revealed that Falzone was approximately 35-37 weeks pregnant at the time of her death.

Currently held without bail, Kelly is scheduled for arraignment on March 18 at 9 a.m. in the Carroll County Superior Court.
