Waltham cited for unlawful mischief

WALTHAM — An 88-year-old Waltham man was cited for unlawful mischief on March 12 after Vermont State Police responded to reports of a disturbance near a residence on Middlebrook Road.

Troopers from the New Haven Barracks arrived on the scene at 10:41 a.m. to find several items belonging to Maple Broadband damaged.

The property owner, Brandon Fayles, 29, of Lowville, New York, was identified as the victim.

Following the investigation, authorities located Richard Fisher, the accused, who was subsequently issued a citation to answer to the charges at a later date.

The Vermont State Police have not released further details about the circumstances leading to the disturbance or the extent of the damage.

Fisher is expected to appear in court to respond to the charges.
