St. Johnsbury man cited for grand larceny, forgery, identity theft

LYNDONVILLE — A St. Johnsbury man has been cited for grand larceny, uttering a forged instrument, and identity theft following an investigation into a vehicle break-in and fraudulent check cashing.

On February 18, the Lyndonville Police Department received a complaint that a resident’s vehicle had been entered and various items removed, including a checkbook.

One stolen check was later presented at an area bank for $1,200.

After an investigation, Richard Kendall III, 30, was located on March 9 and cited for the offenses.

He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on April 29 at 8:30 a.m.
