METHUEN — The Methuen Police Department arrested two youths, a 14-year-old and a 15-year-old from Lawrence, on March 2 after receiving a report of two masked individuals attempting to steal a motor vehicle on Lowell Street.

The incident was of particular interest to the department, as three masked youths had successfully stolen a vehicle in the same area the previous Sunday, February 25.
