Cambridge man charged with violating abuse prevention order

CAMBRIDGE — A local man was charged with violating an abuse prevention order after allegedly contacting a person he was ordered to avoid, authorities said Friday.

Vermont State Police reported that Seth Russin, 27, of Cambridge, breached a Temporary Order for Relief from Abuse around 7:47 p.m. Thursday by reaching out via cell phone to an individual he was prohibited from contacting.

Following the incident on Bourne Road, police located Russin and issued him a criminal citation.

He is scheduled to appear in Lamoille County Court to face the charges at a date and time to be determined.
