DUMMERSTON — A Springfield woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-Drugs and for violating conditions of release, Vermont State Police reported.
At around 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 22, authorities were alerted to an individual slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle on Upper Dummerston Road, blocking a driveway.
Upon arrival, troopers found Heather Cheeney, 40, exhibiting signs of impairment.
Cheeney was taken into custody and a subsequent investigation confirmed she was not only under the influence but also in breach of her release conditions.
She was cited to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on Feb. 23 at 12:30 p.m.
