Lincoln Woods barracks makes multiple arrests in Rhode Island

PROVIDENCE — At 9:27 a.m., Rhode Island State Troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks arrested Rhoshone Skinner, 37, of Providence, for fraudulent use of a credit card and larceny.

The charges, originating from the Pawtucket Police Department, involved a credit card fraud of over $100 and larceny under $1,500.

Skinner’s arrest followed a traffic stop on Randall Street in Pawtucket. He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and subsequently handed over to the Pawtucket Police.

Later, at 11:36 p.m., troopers arrested Martin J. Benitez-Rodriguez, 38, from Central Falls, on multiple charges including possession of a controlled substance (crack cocaine), obstructing a police officer, providing false documents to a public official, and driving without a license for the fourth or subsequent offense.

This arrest also followed a vehicle stop, this time on Charles Street in Providence. Benitez-Rodriguez was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned, and released with a summons to appear in court.

Additionally, troopers apprehended Quinton Taylor, 32, of Warwick, on a Superior Court full bench warrant for a technical violation related to a charge of domestic breaking and entering from the Providence Police Department.

Taylor’s arrest occurred after a pedestrian stop on Charles Street in Providence. He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and later transported to the Adult Correctional Institute’s Men’s Intake Center.
