BETHEL — A local man was taken into custody late Wednesday night following a response to a domestic assault report, according to Vermont State Police.
Troopers from the Royalton Barracks were called to a Bethel residence at approximately 10:52 p.m. on Feb. 7.
Their investigation led to the arrest of Nathan M. Michalski, 40, of Bethel, after an alleged domestic assault.
Michalski was processed at the Royalton Barracks and subsequently released with a citation.
He is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division on Feb. 8 at 12:30 p.m. to face the charges.
In accordance with their policy on domestic violence incidents, the Vermont State Police did not release the name of the 33-year-old victim.
The case remains under investigation.
