This morning police released information regarding a separate incident that took place back in January, regarding a dispute on Main Street in Barton.

Upon arrival, troopers were informed by Renee Woodard, 52, also a Barton resident, that she had been physically assaulted by David Glodgett, 48, of Barton.

After an investigation, police located Glodgett hiding in the attic of a nearby apartment building. He was arrested and taken to Derby Barracks for processing, followed by lodging at the Northern State Correctional Facility on charges of simple assault.
