Plow truck crash causes delays on F.E. Everett Turnpike ramp in Bedford

1 min read

BEDFORD — A contractor plow truck struck a guardrail and partially rolled over Monday morning, leading to traffic delays on the northbound onramp onto the F.E. Everett Turnpike from the Raymond Wieczorek Parkway.

New Hampshire State Police and the NH Department of Transportation (DOT) responded to the scene to manage the situation.

State police vehicles were used to slow traffic, allowing crews to work on removing the parts of the truck that had rolled over and to clean up the salt scattered across the road.

Tow truck operators from Bailey Towing and Blais Towing worked together to stabilize the damaged truck.

They successfully removed the dump portion and the salter, transferring them onto a flatbed truck for removal.

The onramp experienced intermittent closures as tow company workers and NH DOT personnel, equipped with an arrowboard truck and a loader, cleared the truck debris and road salt.

Fortunately, there were no reported injuries from the incident.

After several hours of cleanup efforts, the scene was fully cleared and the ramp was reopened to traffic.
