McGrath’s arrest in Kittery, Maine, by local police on a warrant for two counts of sale of a controlled drug was the culmination of an extensive investigation involving the Portsmouth Police Department, Somersworth Police Department, and federal agencies.

The collaborative probe also included the Strafford County Sheriff’s Office, Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office, and Dover NH Police Department.

Following McGrath’s arrest, multiple search warrants were executed on her properties.
