HINGHAM — A 16-year-old driver, who had just received his license the day before, was cited following a one-car crash on Elm Street Saturday night, police said.
The young driver had his 15-year-old friend as a passenger, violating the terms of his new driving privileges.
Authorities noted that it doesn’t take much snow to create hazardous road conditions.
The incident occurred on a slick roadway, but fortunately, neither the driver nor the passenger was injured.
Hingham Police reminded the public to always drive according to the current road conditions.
