MORRISTOWN — The Morristown Police Department announced it will host the second part of its “Crime and Concerns” forum on Jan. 22 at the Peoples Academy High School auditorium, starting at 7 p.m.

Aiming to foster a dialogue between the community and law enforcement, the event will feature a diverse panel including law enforcement officers, politicians, prosecutors, and health care representatives.

The department is seeking to engage with the public on a variety of topics, with the goal of collaboratively moving forward to address local concerns.

Following a positive response to the first forum, where community members were invited to share their ideas and concerns, the department expressed gratitude for the continued engagement and participation.

The police encourage citizens to keep contributing to the conversation by submitting questions and ideas ahead of the event.

Residents are invited to send their input to [email protected] to ensure the panel can effectively address the community’s issues and make the best use of the allotted time.

The forum is part of the department’s ongoing effort to strengthen community relations and enhance safety in Morristown.
