Orleans Subway restaurant robbed, police seek suspect

ORLEANS — An unknown male suspect robbed the Subway restaurant on Railroad Avenue on Monday evening, according to the Vermont State Police.

Detective Trooper Mark Pohlman reported that at approximately 6:18 p.m., authorities were notified of a robbery at the sandwich chain location.

The male, whose identity remains unknown, was masked when he entered the Subway and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect successfully obtained an undisclosed sum of cash before fleeing the scene on foot.

Security cameras in the store captured images of the individual, which have been released to assist in the suspect’s identification.

The Vermont State Police are appealing to the public for help in identifying the man involved in the robbery.

They urge anyone with information to contact the Derby Barracks at 802-334-8881. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more details become available.
