Upton residents face power outage, 140 affected

UPTON — A sudden power outage has left 140 residents without electricity in the Upton Ridge area, according to the Upton Police Department.

The blackout, reported by the National Grid, began at 3:37 p.m. on Jan. 14 and is expected to last approximately two hours.

Affected streets include Shannon Way, Sienna Circle, Caden Court, and Sienna Way.

Crews from the National Grid are currently addressing the issue and working to restore power.

The estimated duration of the outage is 2.13 hours.

Residents are advised to exercise caution when navigating the affected areas, particularly as traffic lights and streetlights may be out of service.

The Upton Police Department is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
