Two-car crash in Londonderry leads to entrapment, minor injuries

LONDONDERRY, NH — At 8:30 a.m., local police responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Rockingham Road and Route 28 that resulted in the entrapment of one driver.

According to authorities, the road was partially closed, allowing only one lane of traffic to pass as the Newport Fire Department worked diligently to free the trapped motorist.

The extraction process was successfully completed, and the operator was transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.

While the cause of the accident is still under investigation, drivers are advised to approach the area with caution until the road is fully reopened and the investigation concludes.
