Burglary in Irasburg, firearms stolen

IRASBURG — Vermont State Police responded to an active burglary in Irasburg on Jan. 8, where multiple firearms were reported stolen.

Upon arrival, troopers and Department of Motor Vehicle Officers conducted a thorough search of the vicinity and inside the targeted residence, but no suspects were found on the premises.

An unidentified male subject is believed to be responsible for the theft, based on surveillance footage obtained at the scene along with other physical evidence, police say.

State Police are actively investigating the burglary and are requesting the public’s assistance.
