Two-vehicle collision in Lyndonville

LYNDONVILLE — Vermont State Police reported to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Main Street and Depot Street on Jan. 2.

The collision involved a 2017 Nissan Versa, operated by 81-year-old Paul Villeneuve of Waterford, and a 2019 Ford Fusion driven by 57-year-old Robert Bruce of Sugar Hill, New Hampshire.

According to the investigation, Villeneuve, who was traveling on Depot St, failed to properly negotiate a right turn and collided with Bruce’s vehicle, which was heading south on Main St.

The front driver’s side of Villeneuve’s Nissan and the rear driver’s side of Bruce’s Ford were damaged in the crash.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident and no injuries were reported.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

The Vermont State Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
