Wareham police recover 14 stolen recreational vehicles, seek owners

WAREHAM — A joint law enforcement operation led to the recovery of 14 stolen recreational vehicles in Wareham on Dec. 27.

The Wareham Police Criminal Investigation Division, along with Wareham officers, the Wareham Department of Natural Resources, and the Massachusetts Environmental Police, executed a search warrant at a local residence.

The search was part of an investigation into stolen all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and dirt bikes.

Two of the seized vehicles, one from Fall River, Mass., and another from New Haven, Conn., have been positively identified and returned to their owners.

Authorities are now working to locate the owners of the remaining 12 vehicles, which include:

– 2005 Honda TRX450R
– 1997 Yamaha CW50/Zuma
– 2003 Honda CR250R
– 2003 Suzuki LT450
– 2000 Honda CR125R
– 2007 Honda TRX450ER
– 2004 Honda TRX540R
– 2018 Yamaha YZ65
– 2001 Suzuki JR80
– 2007 Kawasaki KLX110
– 2001 Suzuki LT80 Quad

The Wareham Police is reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying the rightful owners of the recovered vehicles.
