Bellows Falls woman arrested on fugitive warrant from New Hampshire

BELLOWS FALLS — Vermont State Police arrested a 33-year-old Bellows Falls woman on Monday morning after an investigation revealed she was wanted in New Hampshire.

At 11:28 a.m. on Dec. 18, authorities received a tip that Kerri Yaqoob was residing at 1 Ski Bowl Road in Bellows Falls and might be a fugitive from justice.

Upon further inquiry, police confirmed that Yaqoob had active extraditable warrants from the neighboring state.

Following the discovery, state police took Yaqoob into custody without incident.

She was transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing and then lodged at the Southern State Correctional Facility.

Yaqoob is set to appear in court to face the charges related to her status as a fugitive from justice.

The date for her court appearance has yet to be announced.
