Lyndon gas station robbed at gunpoint, police seek suspect

LYNDON — A man armed with a firearm robbed Nick’s Gas N Go on Main Street late Sunday afternoon, according to Vermont State Police.

The incident occurred around 1:04 p.m. when the male suspect entered the store and displayed a gun in an effort to steal cash.

Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks, alongside detectives from the Vermont State Police were dispatched to the scene at approximately 1:11 p.m.

No injuries were reported during the robbery, and the suspect managed to escape before law enforcement arrived.

The authorities are currently seeking any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the individual responsible for the crime.
