Driver arrested for DUI following single-vehicle incident in Peacham

PEACHAM — A single-vehicle slide-off on Bayley Hazen Rd led to the arrest of a Montpelier man on charges of driving under the influence late Saturday night.

Vermont State Police responded to the incident around 10:20 p.m., where they found minor damage to the vehicle.

Upon conversing with the driver, 30-year-old Sebastian Griffin, troopers detected signs of impairment.

Griffin was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI and processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks of the Vermont State Police.

Following processing, he was released to a sober adult.

Griffin has been cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court to face DUI charges.
