Fairfield man reported missing, police seek public’s help

FAIRFIELD — A Fairfield man has been reported missing since Dec. 10, prompting authorities to ask for public assistance in the search across Franklin, Lamoille, and Chittenden counties.

Timothy Jettie, known to friends and family as Timmy, 59, was last reported seen by neighbors around Nov. 10.

Concern grew after Jettie’s four-wheeler was discovered abandoned on a trail between Menard Road and Castle Road in Fairfield.

Jettie is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds.

A recent photograph of Jettie has been distributed in conjunction with the missing person report.

The Vermont State Police are leading the search and are urging anyone with information regarding Jettie’s whereabouts to contact the State Police St. Albans Barracks at 802-524-5993.

Authorities have not specified the circumstances surrounding Jettie’s disappearance but have highlighted the urgency in locating him.
