Danville man victim of farm theft, police seek leads

DANVILLE — Vermont State Police are investigating a theft reported by 73-year-old Steve Parker at High Reach Farm on Tampico Road, where tools and miscellaneous items valued at approximately $1,600 were stolen.

The theft is believed to have occurred between Dec. 3 and Dec. 6, according to authorities.

Police were alerted to the incident at 7 a.m. on Dec. 7 and have been gathering evidence in hopes of identifying the person or persons responsible.

The Vermont State Police are urging the public to come forward with any information that may lead to the recovery of the stolen items and the apprehension of the thief.
