TOWNSHEND — Vermont State Police arrested 46-year-old Paul R. Woodruff of Townshend on Dec. 8 after he allegedly violated an Abuse Prevention Order and the conditions of his release.

Authorities were called to the River Bend Farm Market around 2:31 p.m. after receiving a report from a woman who claimed she was harassed.

An investigation revealed that Woodruff, who had a Final Relief of Abuse order filed against him, was in breach of the order and his release conditions.

Woodruff was taken into custody and processed at the Westminster Barracks.

He was held on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in the Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m. to face these charges.
