SALEM — Police in Salem are on the lookout for a woman accused of stealing holiday gifts, in an incident that has drawn comparisons to the infamous Dr. Seuss character, the Grinch.
Authorities released an image of the suspect, a woman who isn’t green but is alleged to have taken presents in a Grinch-like manner.
The theft occurred after a person momentarily placed their gift down, only for it to be snatched away.
Although it is possible the suspect mistook the gift for her own, police suggest it’s unlikely.
