Portsmouth police seek help identifying persons of interest in theft, fraud cases

PORTSMOUTH — Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals considered persons of interest in separate investigations involving theft and fraud.

Authorities released a photo of a woman who is a person of interest related to a theft that occurred at Cure Restaurant on Nov. 24.

Details surrounding the theft have not been disclosed, but the police are keen on speaking with the woman to further their investigation.

In a separate case, a man is sought as a person of interest in an ongoing fraud investigation.

His photo was obtained from surveillance footage at the Market Basket on Lafayette Road.

The nature of the fraudulent activity has not been made public, but police believe the man may have critical information.
