New Haven man turns himself in on assault, probation violation charges

NEW HAVEN — A local man surrendered to authorities Monday morning on an outstanding arrest warrant related to assault charges and probation violation.

Sean Sullivan, 31, of Orwell, entered the police barracks at 9 a.m. to turn himself in.

The warrant issued against Sullivan included charges for simple assault and violation of probation.

According to police officials, Sullivan was taken into custody without incident.

Following his surrender, he was transported directly to the Addison County Courthouse for an arraignment via an online appearance.

The circumstances leading to the issuance of the warrant were not immediately provided.
