LYNDON — A single-vehicle rollover on Lynburke Rd early Sunday morning resulted in a DUI charge for a local man, authorities said.

Vermont State Police from the St. Johnsbury barracks responded to the scene at 2:39 a.m. on Nov. 26, following reports of the accident.

CALEX ambulance service and the Lyndonville Fire Department also provided assistance.

The driver, identified as 25-year-old Tyler Mclain of Lyndon, reportedly lost control of the vehicle due to negligent operation before it overturned.

Mclain, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital.

After receiving treatment, Mclain was processed at the St. Johnsbury Barracks for driving under the influence.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
