LYNDON — A 39-year-old Lyndon man was arrested late Friday night after a traffic stop revealed he was driving with a suspended license and had violated conditions of his release, Vermont State Police said.

Troopers conducting a patrol near US-5 and Mattocks Park Lane initiated the stop at 10:46 p.m. upon observing a vehicle commit a traffic violation.

Sterling Denby, the driver, was found to have a criminally suspended license and was not permitted to drive or consume alcohol as part of his release conditions.

Denby was taken into custody without incident and is due to appear in Caledonia Superior Court on Dec. 18 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges related to the incident.
