Northfield woman charged with aggravated assault over parking dispute

NORTHFIELD — A local woman was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, reckless endangerment, and aggravated disorderly conduct following a confrontation over a parking issue at a school on Nov. 15.

Authorities said Sarah Santamore, 23, brandished a firearm during the incident, which occurred around 8:05 a.m. on Cross Street.

The Northfield Police Department responded to the scene after receiving reports of the altercation.

Investigations indicated that the conflict involved three separate incidents all linked to a parking problem at the school.

No injuries were reported from the event.

Santamore appeared before a judge later the same day at approximately 2:30 p.m. She was released with conditions pending further legal proceedings.

The Northfield Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
