Craftsbury store burglarized, cigarettes and cash stolen

CRAFTSBURY — Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at the C Village Store early this morning.

According to an employee’s report, the store was broken into around 3:29 a.m., with the thieves making off with seven cartons of Marlboro cigarettes, a cash register drawer, and a jar containing money.

The suspects used a white four-door flatbed truck, possibly a Dodge, in the commission of the crime.

State police are actively seeking information on the burglary and have released pictures of the suspect and the vehicle involved.
